SRP Telecom was established in 1996 as a business unit of Salt River Project, the nation’s third largest public utility. We operate one of the largest fiber-optic-based communications networks in Arizona. Concentrated in the Phoenix metropolitan area, SRP offers the market's densest metropolitan-area carrier network - 1,800 route miles available for license across 15 municipalities.

Our dark fiber operations use the same infrastructure that supports our electric and water system – making them critical components of the region’s infrastructure and giving them the highest level of survivability. SRP also provides Wireless attachments and colocation solutions.

SRP has operated in metro Phoenix since 1903 and now serves 990,000 electric customers and delivers 1 million acre feet of raw water to the regional annually.
